Why Become a Health First Colorado Provider

It's a Great Time to Be a Health First Colorado Provider

Health First Colorado is committed to creating a more integrated, coordinated system of care that further improves health and life outcomes for members while using state resources wisely. Beginning July 2018, Health First Colorado made the following changes to its program with goals of improving member health and reducing costs:

  • Join physical and behavioral health under one accountable entity
  • Strengthen coordination of services by advancing team-based care and health neighborhoods
  • Promote member choice and engagement
  • Pay providers for the increased value they deliver
